Potm trip Edwardstone White Horse
Starting from Bury st Edmunds 12 members from West Suffolk CAMRA ,went on POTM trip-
1st stop The Fox & Hounds, Bradfield st George, beers on Adnams - Bitter & Broadside, Nethergate -Essex Border, Mauldons - Black Adder, swift pint here the off to:-
Edwardstone White Horse - Where banner was presented for POTM - had lunch, then had a tour of Mill Green (Eco friendly brewery) which was enjoyed by all, beers on Mill Green - Mawkin Mild, Lovelys Fair, Bulls Cross, Box Hop,Barley Bird, Crouch Vale - Wild Hop,Brewers Gold, Adnams - Bitter.
Then off to :- The Anchor - Nayland , While the navigators were sorting out a route, at tee junction CC desided to go for a short walk to the woods came back very relived, eventually found our way, The Anchor is a riverside local, the food served is organic much of which comes from the pub farm. There is a nature walk around the farm grounds including seeing the pubs piglets. Beers on were Adnams - Bitter, Greene King - IPA. + Guests. next:-
The Crown, Stoke by Nayland, This is very much a resturant pub, but keep a good choice of beers one of which was Crouch Vale - Brewers Gold, swift stop here, now onward home, down the A14 to Beyton Bear, Adnams - Yuletide, Woodfordes - Wherry, Now back to Bury to drop off the merry bunch.
